The Lahore High Court (LHC) issued notice to provincial government and CTO Lahore for January 30 in a petition filed against encroachments around the court premises. The petitioner contended that lawyers and litigants face problems due to encroachment around the court premises. He said traffic jams due to parking problems may also cause any untoward incident including terrorism. He therefore asked the court to direct the traffic police to take necessary steps for smooth traffic around the LHC.
