ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri will perform as Acting Speaker in the absence Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser who has proceeded on visit abroad.
It is in pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 53 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that Qasim Khan Suri would perform as Acting Speaker with effect from 18 October,2018 in the absence of Asad Qaiser, said a press release of National Assembly Secretariat issued here Thursday.
