State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will not get anything out of Panama Papers case. Talking to the media persons here on Wednesday after attending the Supreme Court proceedings on Panamagate case, she, along with other members of the ruling Pakistan Muslims League (Nawaz), said that the government will provide everything sought by the apex court in connection with the ongoing case.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has failed to serve the masses. Speaking on the occasion, State Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rehman said Imran Khan only wants action against the family of the Prime Minister. She said the PTI failed to submit any substantive arguments before the bench.
The PML-N leaders while lambasting on Chairman PTI Imran Khan asked him to provide all the evidence which he used to claim on TV channels and in public gatherings. They said those who arranged fake court at containers should be afraid of God. While criticising Imran Khan, they said that the PM has just inaugurated another project that day and will keep cutting ribbons of projects after projects to make Pakistan a developed country. PML-N leaders also advised PTI and other ruling political parties to start serving the people who have mandated them to end bad governance, unemployment and law and order situation, instead of agitation.
Anusha Rehman said that Imran Khan wants to disqualify the PM on the basis of allegations as he has failed to provide substantive arguments before the bench. She remarked that Imran could not answer court queries but now he will be held answerable in the court of the masses. "The courts make decisions on the basis of facts and evidence, and not on lies and allegations."
She said the PML-N leadership has come to respond to the allegations in connection with Panama Leaks but now it is being asked to respond to queries about the PM's speech. She said the PM has no link to the Panama Papers and the PML-N and the PM have the same stance.
Talal Chaudhry said Imran Khan levelled baseless allegations and did the politics of agitation and anarchy. "But this time, Imran will not be allowed to get himself off the hook, as defamation laws exist in Pakistan and he will have to reply as to why he had levelled baseless allegations against the thrice elected prime minister," she added.
He said that the PTI chief is habitual of telling lies and levelling baseless allegations. Marriyum said all attempts made by the PTI to defame the Prime Minister failed miserably. "During the past 10 months, the PTI has been doing politics on the Panama Papers and created anarchy," claimed Chaudhry.
