Dr Kalhoro, in his remarks on this occasion observed that it was not the only financial assistance option for students of University of Sindh. He informed that there were many more options available to the needy yet meritorious students at the Varsity.
The leading among them were Government of Sindh Merit scholarship, MORA scholarship and Need-cum-Merit scholarship by each district government in Sindh. Dr Kalhoro further observed that it was heartening to see steady and constant swell in the number of admissions at the University; which he attributed to the fast improving academic standards at the Varsity.
