The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle drugs abroad and arrested a drug peddler at Lahore Airport on Sunday. The ASF officials during search of the passenger leaving for Malaysia through private airline at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore recovered drugs concealed in the clothes.
The recovered drug worth million of rupees in the international market was confiscated. The drugs peddler identified as Tahir Mehmood and hailing from Lahore was arrested.
The detainee was handed over to ANF for further investigation.
