Lasbela CCI demands withdrawal of POL price hike

President of Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Ismail Suttar, has urged the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to withdraw the hike in POL prices in view of the fact that petroleum prices remain stagnant elsewhere in the world.
"Government has once again raised he POL prices without any justification," he said adding that trade and industry as well as general consumers have been affected adversely by soaring prices of petroleum products which terming unjustified and uncalled for.
Ismail Suttar argued that the petroleum prices are still on the lower side around the world. He said that government is yet to provide any relief to the industrial sector as all the relief packages remained on papers.
