The NTDC spokesman has clarified that the seminar for the contractors, suppliers and manufacturers interested in supplying material for the construction of 220kV, 500kV and 765kV transmission lines was conducted successfully on 02 January 2017. It was mistakenly reported by this scribe a day earlier that the seminar would take place on 2nd of February 2017 that had attracted the stakeholders by and large.
The purpose of the seminar was to introduce the bidders/contractors about proposed modifications of type test requirements of NTDC in line with the international practices in future bidding documents keeping in view the stringent timelines of projects and to enhance the quality of NTDC network.-PR
