The Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Dr Ahsan Iqbal, has awarded a certificate of appreciation to the Chairman Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK), Professor Dr Saeeduddin, in recognition of his services in the field of education in Sindh. The BSEK chairman received the award at the recently concluded National Education Conference.
Meanwhile, a delegation of All-Pakistan Clerk Association (BSE Unit), led by its president Abdul Wahab Lakho, met the BSEK chairman to felicitate him on being awarded certificate of appreciate. The other members of the delegation included Salman Ahmed, Musharaf Khan, Haji Muhammad Hanif, Shakil Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed, Abrar Hussain and Muhammad Wakil.
Professor Saeed informed the APCA delegation that he was taking all possible measurers to make BSEK a role model for other institutions and urged the employees to deal with students and their parents in a polite and respectable manner.
The BSEK chief said that with a view to facilitating students, more counters were being opened for submitting forms and fee, besides a RO plant was also being installed within the premises of board to provide clean drinking water to the visitors, particularly students and their parents. He also disclosed that a decision has been taken to mention date of birth of students on their Class IX marks sheets. He thanked the APCA for their continued support in bringing improvement in board's affairs and he hoped that this support would continue in the future, as well.
