Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday asked the Prime Minister to make the Dawn inquiry commission report public. In a statement issued here, PTI Central Information Secretary Naeemul Haq said the PTI will not allow any attempt by the government to conceal the facts behind the Dawn leaks, which was a malicious attempt by the Sharif administration to malign the armed forces of Pakistan.
"We will not let the Dawn leaks issue go, as it was a direct hit on the armed forces of Pakistan despite their sacrifices in the war against terrorism. The real characters behind this controversy must be exposed," he added. He alleged the government wants to bury the issue to save the skin of its party leaders including Maryam Nawaz, adding that the Prime Minister and his daughter should have been summoned by the inquiry commission.
