Chief Minister Pervez Khattak of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday approved the unfreezing of the 30 percent secretariat allowance of secretariat employees with immediate effect. This decision was taken in a meeting of the provincial cabinet. The Census Commissioner briefed the cabinet about the national census starting on March 15. The chief minister said individual teachers' promotions will be linked with performance.
