Cloth godown gutted in SITE

A cloth godown located in SITE industrial area of the city on Monday caught a huge fire, causing colossal financial losses due to gutted threads and damage to the building but no casualty was reported, according to the fire brigade officials and rescue sources.
The fire was rated 'category three.' The fired erupted in the godown also engulfed nearby buildings. Almost a dozen of fire tenders and browsers were taking part to extinguish the fire. More tenders were sought, a fire brigade official said. Rescue efforts were underway. The cause of fire and loss of property were yet to be determined immediately till filing of this report.
