Federal government has re-appointed Saeed Ahmad as Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan for two years. In pursuance of Section 10(9) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 (as amended) the Federal Government has re-appointed Saeed Ahmad as Deputy Governor, SBP for a period of two years with effect from January 21, 2017, a press release of the SBP said on Monday. Saeed Ahmad continued to retain this position since January 20, 2014 when he was appointed for three years.
