Different religious segments, political leaders and civil society have strongly condemned the tragic incident of terrorism on the shrine on Lal Shahbaz Qalandar at Sehwan leaving more than 80 people dead, while more than 250 people injured the leaders of Mali Yakjahti Council Muollana Abdul Khair Mohammad Zubair and Muollana Taj Mohammad Nahiyo addressing a press conference at Hyderabad Press Club said that if the chief minister of Sindh is unable to protect the people of his constituency, how would he be able to protect people of entire Sindh, he should immediately resign from the top post of the province.
There is not any satisfactory security on the shrines throughout the country. They said the terrorist attacks in the country are rapidly increasing but neither the federal government nor the provincial governments are taking any measures in this regard. They further said that both, National Action Plan (NAP) and Operation Zarb-e-Azab are not being implemented, till they are implemented, peace won't prevail in the society. They have demanded rather sealing the shrines, security of shrines should be increased.
On the other hand the leaders of Ullema-Shi'aan-e-Qarar Hyderabad including Muollana Imdad Hussain Ali Naseemi, Muollan Allah Bachayo Nasir and others while addressing a press conference at Hyderabad Press Club, condemned the terrorist attack and demanded to take severe action against terrorists and provide security to common people. They said that this attack is clear evidence of incompetence of rulers, people are being killed mercilessly, while the rulers are engaged to give protocols to each other, the government has taken no security measures as people throughout the country visit the shrine of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz daily. They demanded that CM Sindh and entire cabinet should resign after this tragic incident.
However, different religious and civil society groups including Dargah Punju Shah Noorani, Al-Fuqra Ithad, Al-Sadaat Ithad, Syedna-Sakhi Abdul Wahab Shah Jillani Trust, Jamiat-e-Ulema Pakistan, Geo Hyderi Kalhora Colony and others staged protests outside Hyderabad Press Club and condemned the terrorist attack on the shrine of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz and chanted slogans against terrorists and demanded to arrest all the facilitators of such terrorist organizations.
