A collective prayer ceremony for the martyrs of recent terror attacks in the country was held at FGA Ground Bahar Colony Kot Lakhpat on Sunday. Minister for Minorities and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu, Pastor Anwar Fazal, Nida Fazal, MPA Shehzad Munshi, Pastor Imran Fazal, Asif Bhatti, Sarfraz Ghuri, Senior Church leaders along with thousands of people from Christian community attended the ceremony.
The participants prayed for the martyrs of the attacks and expressed their solidarity with Pakistan Army, Police and Security agencies fighting war against terrorism.
The Minister said that the Christian community is ready to render sacrifices for the defence of the county. Khalil Tahir Sandhu said that people from Christian community were martyred in terrorist's attacks including Yuhana Abad and Gulshan Park and in future they will be united with their Muslim brothers to tackle the menace of terrorism.
It is also being ensured to provide prisoners clean drinking water, he concluded.
