On the directives of Chief Executive, Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) drive against illegal use of electricity has been accelerated throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this connection PESCO Surveillance Wapda House team conducted raids in different areas of Bannu Circles and nabbed 107 more electricity pilferers.
During checking in the areas of City-2, Cantt, Mandara sub divisions of Bannu Circle, 61 commercial and domestic consumers were caught for illegal use of electricity, while meter of Syed Ali Flour Mills was found 66% slow. Similarly, during the checking in the areas of Sarai Norang and Gumbala sub divisions the members of 13 tube-wells were found tampered while in the areas of Urban sub division Bannu, 33 commercial, industrial and domestic consumers were nabbed for power theft. The power meters of Atta Ullah Flour Mills, Saqib Flour Mills and Khurshid Bakery were also found slow. A spokesman of PESCO has said that drive against illegal use of electricity and direct hooks will continue and warned to stop power pilferers to stop the practice in the larger interest of the nation.
Power shutdown notice: Due to maintenance work power supply will remain suspended from 132 KV Hayatabad Grid Station on February 22, 23, 25 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm resultantly consumers of 11 KV Hayatabad-5 feeders will face inconvenience.
Similarly, power supply will also remain suspended from 132KV Peshawar Fort Grid Station on February 23 from 8:00 pm to 1:00 pm resultantly consumers of 11 KV Hashtnagri feeders will face inconvenience.
Furthermore, power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Peshawar City Grid Station on February 22 & 26 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, resultantly consumers of 11 KV Gulbahar-1, Kohati Gate, Shuba, Abasin, Beri Bagh, Rashid Ghari, Sikandar Pura feeders will face inconvenience.
Power supply will also remain suspended from 132 KV Peshawar Industrial Grid Station on February 22 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm resultantly consumers of 11 KV Sunehri Masjid, PAF, Banamari, Kohat Road, Murshadabad, Civil Quarters, Abasin, Islamabad, Zaryab, Faqirabad-2,Wazirbagh feeders will face inconvenience.
