Huge quantity of cellphones seized

Model Collectorate of Customs (MCC), Preventive on Thursday claimed to have seized huge quantity of cell phones worth Rs 1.9 million from a passenger arrived from Sharjah. According to details, the passenger namely Mujahid, who arrived from Sharjah via Air Arabia flight G9-547, was intercepted by the preventive staff at international arrival. During examination of his luggage, the staff has recovered huge quantity of cell phones worth Rs 1.9 million. Consequent upon recovery, he was taken into custody and legal proceedings were initiated against him.
