Executive, Director Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF), Ateeq Ur Rehman has said that AMTF providing exceptional treatment to the deprived Thalassemic Children free of cost, by offering amazing facilities in shape of ICU, blood bank, laboratory, day care and dedicated clinics.
Speaking at completes five successful years of its exclusive ICU for Thalassemic children, he said that AMTF state of the art ICU is a gift of government and people of Japan. He said that AMTF is committed to "A Thalassemia Free Pakistan" and request Philanthropists for wholehearted participation and support in our Journey of saving lives". He said that Thalassemia is a self inflicted disease and it spreads due to human fault. He said that there is a great need for involving media, religious heads and elected representatives to create awareness about the disease and its prevention at grass root level.
