The Pakhtun traders in the town are all set to support Peshawar Zalmi in the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) that will be played in Qaddafi Stadium tomorrow. Majority of the Pakhtun traders remained busy in preparations for making special arrangements to celebrate the final of PSL, especially in support of Peshawar Zalmi.
It may be noted that the Pakhtun traders had hit the headlines after a campaign on the social media that they have been isolated by the law enforcing agencies in their search for facilitators of suicide bombers. It was followed by a strong reaction from the Pakhtun leadership, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and Ameer Muqam, Pakhtun Advisor to the Prime Minister, had visited the city to express solidarity with Pakhtun fraternity and held a joint press conference with Punjab Law Minister to dispel a wrong impression on social media.
The Pakhtun traders in all leading markets including, Liberty Market, Shah Alam Market, Panorama Centre and others vowed to make special arrangements to celebrate the final of PSL. The political analysts have termed this trend very positive, saying that the PSL has united the whole nation and they are supporting all the four provinces out of their love for cricket.
