Proposed merger of Fata with KP widely hailed

Tribesmen, political leaders, students and others stakeholders from tribal Mohmand Agency have welcomed the federal cabinet decision proposed merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday. Reforms Package approved by the federal cabinet and over a century old Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) would be replaced by (Rewaj Act) a new law.
ANP Mohmand Agency President Nisar Mohmand welcomed the proposed reforms by the government and congratulated the peoples of FATA for getting genuine citizenship after a long & tortures journey."It is a good decision for tribesmen and now the tribesmen will nominate their representatives in the provisional assembly" said Mohmand. He said that there are some reservations on the time frame of the reforms but they will defend it ."I am surprised that who will monitors and check security, development in this whole process of Reforms in the areas" he added. About the Rewaj Act he said that it is a discriminatory law and we will challenge it in Supreme Court.
Niasr Mohmand said that holdings of local bodies' election were our old demands and it would be held under the provisional election commission. He urged the tribesmen and all the political workers of FATA to takes parts in the upcoming census in the area to get more MPAs seats in the Provisional assembly. PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa vice president and leader Syed Akhunzada Chatan termed it the clay put in the eyes of FATA peoples and said that PML-N government is not sincere with the peoples of FATA. "PML-N government have minimum of three to four months then will the next government continue FATA reforms process" said Chatan? AkhunzdaChattan said that it is cheating with FATA peoples and they have given a long duration of five years for this process. He said that all the FATA reforms like extension of political party's act and amendments in the black law were done by the PPP government and when the PML-N formed government they formed his own Fata Reforms Committee. He said that Tribesmen are unhappy over this type of reforms; we want immediate conversion and don't wait for another term.
PTI Mohmand Agency President Sajid Khan said that all the Party workers are very happy and they also distributed sweets in the Ghalanai bazaar on the abolishment of this long standing issue. He termed it a great success of the tribesmen and PTI Fata workers because these workers started their struggle since long and at last we were succeeding.
Sajid Khan told that the future of FATA peoples now bright and we shall be representing in the Provisional assembly in the near future. He said that all the common man in FATA are happy over these reforms but only some privileged elders were unhappy on this decision.
Jamati Islami Agency Amir Saeed Khan said that it is a very good decision for the tribal. They are real Pakistani and good Muslim brothers. They have suffered great hardships for Pakistan after 9/11. Now they should prefer education, health and their culture traditions."FCR was the root cause of all evils in the tribal region. He said that holdings of local bodies in tribal areas are a good omen for tribal peoples" said JI Amir. He said that due to these black law hundreds of tribesmen are imprisoned in ordinary cases in each tribal agency and they have no access to any court of Pakistan.JI Amir said that all the tribesmen are happy on the proposed merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and complete abolishment of FRC law.
