Fashion industry of Pakistan could earn huge foreign exchange for the country as it has the potential to get huge share in the international fashion market worth billions of dollars. This was crux of the speeches delivered by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa, Vice President Muhammad Nasir Hameed Khan, Convenor LCCI Standing Committee on Fashion & Clothing Talat Hafeez and other experts while speaking at the seminar "The Role of Fashion Industry in the Economic Growth of Pakistan" here at the Lahore Chamber.
The LCCI office bearers said that Pakistan's fashion designing and clothing industry has become an important dimension for national economy because of its export potential. The policy corridors should realise its significance in view of its huge potential for future expansion and give all possible facilities, they said. Pakistan could win international market through branding therefore entrepreneurs from fashion industry should introduce their own brands to gain trust of the international consumers, they added.
