Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif chaired a meeting on Sunday in which a delegation led by Chairman Health Impact Committee of Abraaj Group David Nicholson was also present. In the meeting Abraaj Group expressed interest in the co-operation with the Punjab government for improvement in the healthcare system, training of doctors and nurses and coordination for diagnose of diseases.
In this regard, the joint committee by the Punjab government and Abraaj Group would present the final recommendations on the future plan in the next few days. While presiding over the meeting, the Chief Minister said that for quality healthcare facilities we would have to take immediate steps without wasting more time. It was my mission to improve healthcare services and we considered the co-operation of Abraaj Group with regard, CM said.
