As round matches of Balochistan Football Cup 2017 goes in full swing on the fourth day, the football fraternity in the province once again relishes the game in true spirit. On a league basis, the matches have been carried out in six divisional head-quarters including Nushki, Kharan, Gwadar, Sibi, Loralai and Naseerabad featuring 35 teams hunting for new talent from Balochistan. So far, the tournament has identified 21 stars being the Man of the Match having outstanding performances during different matches.
After a series of matches, Kharan has already qualified for the district Kalat's final match, while in the same district Mastung played a sensational match against Lasbela, which resulted into a draw with 1-1. District Police Officer Anwar Badini was the chief guest on the occasion. In district Quetta, Chagai and Nushki displayed great defense tactics and none could score a goal against each other resulting in 0-0. Similarly in district Makran, the match between Panjgur and Turbat ended in draw with two goals by each teams.
Quetta DFA 2 was smashed by Nushki in a one-sided game by 5-1, while the match between Sibi and Kohlu ended with 4-1 with Sibi being the winner. Lasbela defeated Washuk by 5-1. Renowned social worker Haji Afzal Zehri along with a huge audience watched the match.PPL has allocated incentives and prizes for all teams playing at the district level and in the final round.
