The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought report about salary, perks and privileges of Sartaj Aziz, Tariq Fatmi and Mehtab Abbasi advisors to Prime Minister within fortnight.
The court also observed that it must be determined that what responsibilities the advisors were fulfilling and whether they were using ministerial powers.
The petitioner Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi alleged that the respondent advisors had been using the powers of minister and looking after the affairs of the ministry of foreign affairs which was illegal.
He pointed out that advisors' numbers could not exceed from five but currently more than five advisors were working.
