Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday issued notices to the families of a bride and groom in Multan for spendthrift on their wedding.
FBR has sought the details of the families' assets and tax payments. Moreover, a stern legal action will be taken against them if the reply is not submitted till March 24. The wedding ceremony comprised of 15000 guests whereas the bride's family gave dowry to her worth Rs5 crore.
