The profit after tax of Pak Suzuki Motor Company stood at Rs 2.772 billion in the year ended December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 5.842 billion earned in the year 2015. The company's earning per share stood at Rs 33.69 in the period under review against Rs 70.99 in the same period a year back.
The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Tuesday recommended a final cash dividend for the year at Rs 5.50 per share ie 55 percent. According to the financial results sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company's turnover decreased to Rs 76.516 billion in 2016 against Rs 84.548 billion in 2015 while cost of sales stood at Rs 69.167 billion against Rs 73.061 billion. The company's profit before taxation stood at Rs 4.415 billion in 2016 against Rs 8.685 billion earned in 2015.
