Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders held a meeting with Pakistani High Commissioner in New Delhi, Abdul Basit, and pitched for dialogue between India and Pakistan. The Hurriyet leaders including Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Bilal Ghani Lone, Masroor Abbas and Musadiq Adil in their meeting with Abdul Basit pitched for dialogue between Pakistan and India for resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris' aspirations.
The leaders also discussed with the High Commissioner the situation that arose after the ongoing uprising and the oppression unleashed by Indian forces on peaceful protesters in the occupied territory. Sources said that Basit shared the concerns of the Pakistan government and the country and reiterated his stand for Kashmir at the world level.
