Major General Hasan Azhar Hayat, General Officer Command seven division visited to forces cantonment, Landi Kotal and toured through various sections of it. Flanked by Brigadier Rahat, Colonel Akhter Zaidi, Colonel Faiz, General Hasan inspected the cant and viewed security measures taken in the cantonment. He visited to the monument of martyrs, laid floral wreath on it and offered fatiha for the departure souls.
The visiting army official also paid visit to Army Public School & College, (APS&C) Landi Kotal, examined the newly constructed boys' hostel. He inaugurated the recently established canteen shops in the educational institution by formally cut the ribbon. Principal of APS&C, Landi Kotal Shah Fayaz briefed the guests of curricular and extra-curricular activities of it.
Speaking on the occasion he appreciated performance and able management of the APS&C and said that extraordinary performance of the APS&C in imparting knowledge in such remote area makes it prominent among other education institutions across the country. He announced grant of one million rupees for college section of the APS&C.
