Around 2.7 million members will be choosing the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the upcoming intra-party elections, says a press release issued here on Monday. According to the details issued by the PTI Central Media Department, the criterion for the election will be announced in a few days.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the first and the only party with inherent democratic stratum and besides this, the PTI is also vigilantly focusing on national agenda. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's fight on Panamagate case is the fight for the survival of democracy. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has become an institution where audits are being conducted on regular basis and PTI has provided all the necessary records to ECP. The PTI is the country's only Democratic Party and it doesn't need any kind of warnings or caution for intra-party elections. In the next few weeks, elections will be conducted and all the democratic requirements will be fulfilled as it's the legacy of PTI to ensure the implementation of democratic principles within party.
In a statement, PTI Central Information Secretary Naeemul Haq stated that dishonesty and corruption have now become the cognisance of Nawaz Sharif. People have understood the very difference between pre and post Panama Nawaz Sharif. He said that Nawaz Sharif will also be held accountable for taking money from ISI to conspire against democracy. Naeemul Haq has challenged PML-N reps to ask Nawaz Sharif about ISI sponsored conspiracy against democracy instead of doing counterproductive press conferences at PID.
He stated that Nawaz Sharif got money from Osama bin Laden to derail democracy in Pakistan and added that Nawaz Sharif went to every extent to harm democracy in Pakistan. Naeemul Haq stated that Panamagate is the curtain raiser of the accountability show and he also said that people would like to see the logical end of the Asghar Khan case as well after Panama.
