National Assembly's Standing Committee on Industries and Production is going to hold its 25th meeting here at the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA)'s head office today. According to SMEDA sources, the Committee is comprised of 21 MNAs including Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi, Federal Minister Industries and Production as Ex-officio Member. Asad Umar (MNA) being Chairman of the Committee will preside of the meeting.
SMEDA chief executive officer Sher Ayub will also give a briefing to the committee on this occasion regarding the SMEDA's role in SME development followed by another briefing by General Manager, Pakistan Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (PITAC). The Committee members will visit Technology Up gradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) office, where its chief executive officer Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry will give a briefing on working of his department.
