CPEC project: government can get benefits from JVs, technology transfer: FCCI
Pakistan can get maximum benefits from CPEC project through joint ventures and transfer of technology from China, said Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh while addressing the female batch of 50 students of Government Collage Karkhana Bazar Faisalabad headed by Professor Nighat Parveeen. In addition, the Secretary General FCCI Abid Masood said that about $1trillion worth trade is expected through CPEC project.
In this regard, Government of Pakistan is making all out efforts to provide infrastructure for the completion of the project of Gawadar Port while briefing about FCCI activeties he said, the main objective of FCCI is to bridge the gap between public and private sectors. Moreover, foreign ambassadors and high profile government functionaries, federal and provincial ministers visited FCCI and held meeting with traders and industrialist community.
Earlier, Miss Nighat Parveen Associate Professor English (Government College Karkhana Bazar Faisalabad) extended her gratitude to FCCI management for providing opportunity to finance and accounting students to interact with the FCCI Management.
Furthermore, Mr. Muhammad Din Tahir (Director R&D) described about the CPEC project to the students and said that it is the $58 billion investment project which will enhance and cement the ties between Pakistan and China and will also prove to be a milestone for the future of Pakistan. He said that R&D section of FCCI has also compiled a comprehensive study report on CPEC, which clearly identifies its pros and cons. This book has been provided to the government departments' policy makers in order to redress the irritant. He further said that language was yet another barrier; however FCCI has started Chinese language courses to bridge this gap. Later, at the end Mr. Abid Masood presented CPEC book to Miss Nighat Parveen.
