The Jamaat-e-Islami will hold demonstrations against oppressive and unscheduled loadshedding on Friday all over the country. The demonstrations and protest rallies will be held in front of power producer companies. Chief of JIP, Senator Sirajul Haq, will lead the demonstration at Batkhela while JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch will lead the protest in the Punjab capital.
JI deputy chief Asadullah Bhutto will lead the demonstration at Hyderabad; Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan will lead in Islamabad. The JI leadership has appealed to the masses to join the demonstrations in maximum numbers to express their resentment and anguish over the persisting energy crisis that did not seem to be over in the near future.
