Renowned industrialist and PTI Senator Nauman Wazir has vowed all possible resistance and opposition to the privatisation of the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL). He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the SNGPL Employees' Union.
He congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the union and stressed them for working with honesty and merit. He said that he is friend of labourers and meet the workers of his factory without any discrimination and even also work with his own hands.
Senator Nauman Wazir extended full support to the labourers and said they can visit his office anytime. He assured them that he would go to any extent for the resolution of their problems. About the privatization of SNGPL, he said that public sector entities, which go into loss are usually privatised. However, he said SNGPL has no such issue. He said that Unaccounted For Gas (UFG) losses of the company during June and July of 2016 were Rs 7.518 billion while during the period of July March of the current financial year it had declined to Rs 3.195 billion, which means the company had earned a profit of Rs 4.323 billion. He assured full support to the genuine demands of office bearers of SNGPL Employees Union and assured them all possible co-operation in that regard.
