Sindh High Court (SHC) has adjourned hearing of a petition seeking contempt of court proceeding against Sindh government for removing Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh A D Khwaja till Wednesday due to the absence of the petitioner lawyer. The court also extended the stay on removal of the top cop of the province.
During Tuesday's hearing, Advocate General Sindh while advancing arguments pleaded the court to hear the case on urgent basis. The AGP said that the instant matter was of important nature, adding that it was being delayed unnecessarily.
