A fighter jet of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near Athara Hazari of Jhang on Tuesday however, the pilot of the plane escaped unhurt. According to the PAF spokesman, the aircraft was on its routine training mission. The pilot safely ejected from the aircraft before it hit the ground, however, reason behind the crash could not be confirmed yet.
He said the crash caused no physical damage on the crash site as the pilot judiciously swept the plane away from the populated area. The spokesman said the Mirage plane took off from Somniani air base however soon, the jet developed certain glitch and crashed. The PAF officials ordered inquiry into the crash.
