KP Inspector General of Police (IGP), Salah Uddin Khan in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar on Tuesday awarded Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police officials with cash prizes and commendation certificate who performed excellent duty on the eve of three-day congregation at Azakhel, Nowshera.
According to details a three-day congregation from April 7 to 9, was held at Azakehl, Nowshera. Due to strict security measures taken by the police force no untoward incident occurred and the congregation culminated peacefully. Addressing the ceremony the IGP appreciated the efforts of the force jawans for adopting best security and high standard measures for the congregation.
The IGP informed that police officials performing duties at police stations and in the field were the real face of the force and urged them to win hearts and minds of the general public due to sheer hard work, professionalism and best mannerism.
The IGP made it clear that reward and punishment will go together in the force and those exhibiting excellent performance would be awarded generously and those showing negligence would not be spared. On the occasion, the IGP awarded DSP Saddeq Akbar, Inspectors Naseem Khan, Fazal Sher, Masood and Riaftat, ASIs Turk Ali Shah, Zafar Iqbal, Sartaj and Head Constables Jehan Parvar and Lal Hussain with cash prizes and commendation certificates. Principal Staff Officer to IGP, Captain Mansoor Aman (retd) was also present on this occasion.
