Foreign Minister of Iran, Javad Zarif Khonsari called on Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed issues of bilateral interest and regional security with him. During meeting of Iranian FM with CoAS General Bajwa, both sides agreed on improving bilateral boarder co-ordination to deny any space to the terrorists. Tremendous bilateral co-operation potential was identified in various fields during the meeting.
The visiting dignitary appreciated the efforts of Pakistan and its armed forces against terrorism. CoAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan is committed to have lasting relations with Iran and will keep up its efforts to reduce friction amongst brotherly Muslim countries.
