A three-day photographic exhibition 2017 organised by Sindh University's Institute of Art & Design (IAD) concluded here on Wednesday. The exhibition was attended by large numbers of visitors including students, faculty members and the individuals from various walks of life.
Sindh University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat presided over the concluding ceremony of the exhibition which continued for three days at Sindh Museum Hyderabad. The university's institute of Art & Design showcased the best creative photography work of the varsity's young artists. Over 300 photographs by 12 student artists were put on display in the exhibition.
SU vice chancellor Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat during his visit to the exhibition gallery praised the role of IAD in cultural field and assured his support in facilitating the students. Addressing the students and faculty members, SU Vice Chancellor Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat said that the exhibition was aimed at identifying, recognising and celebrating the caliber and talents of the university's artists. It was also an attempt to promote and encourage new trends and developments in the field of art and culture. "Such events will be held regularly in future in order to bring social evils, injustices, disparities and intolerance to an end in our society", he added.
