London: Europe's main stock markets soared at the start of trade on Friday along with hopes for a resolution to the China-US trade row.
After twenty minutes of trading, London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of major blue-chip companies was up 0.7 percent at 7,169.16 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 also surged 1.4 percent to 11,629.27 points and the Paris CAC rose 1.3 percent to 5,150.21.
