A prize distribution ceremony for the 21st HinoPak Cricket Tournament was held where the winning team K-Electric along with other notables was present. K-Electric became victorious after beating Pakistan Navy in the final by 81 runs and after beating Omar Associates in the semi-final in a close encounter, by 1 wicket. Chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony was CEO and MD of HinoPak Motors Tatsuhei Muto, who handed the trophy to the winning team K-Electric.
Speaking at the occasion Mahmood Riaz said that the entire team has made K-Electric proud after such a strong display. He especially congratulated Faraz Ahmed from K-Electric who bagged 17 wickets in this tournament and for winning the 'Best Bowler of the Tournament' award. K-Electric remains committed to invest in sports and has been known to provide platforms to youngsters who have gone on to represent the Pakistan cricket team. Players such as Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Anwar Ali, Asad Shafiq and Sarfaraz Ahmed were KE players who went on to represent the Green Shirts.-PR
