Pesco pounces on another 92 electricity thieves

The Surveillance teams of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) conducted raids in different areas of Peshawar, Mardan and Swat Circles on Monday and nabbed 92 accused of power pilferage. PESCO teams during checking in areas of Sardheri sub division of Peshawar Circle identified two domestic and one commercial connections using electricity illegally.
The teams apprehended the illegal consumers. Similarly, 6 domestic and commercial connections in Utmanzai and Chowk Yadgar sub divisions were pointed out illegal. During checking in the areas of Takhtbai, Sher Ghar, Bakhshali, Gojar Ghari, Ghari Kapura City-2 Mardan sub divisions some 39 accused of illegal domestic and commercial connections were apprehended. During checking in areas of Batkhela, Kabal, Daggar, Thana sub division of Swat Circle, 44 domestic and commercial connections were identified illegal and accused were arrested.
