On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,895. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.533 billion and the number of lots traded was 12,308. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.219 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.183 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 959.942 million, silver PKR 123.595 million, copper PKR 44.234 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.372 million.
