On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,904. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.757 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,048. Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 1.025 billion, followed by gold PKR 857.367 million, currencies through COTS PKR 751.259 million, silver PKR 100.513 million, copper PKR 19.876 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.402 million.
