The Lahore High Court on Thursday issued notices for May 22 to respondents Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in response to a petition that has accused them of money laundering. The said petition is pending before the court since 1996. The petitioner prayed to the court to declare Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and others as disqualified for their alleged involvement in money-laundering and bar them from contesting elections.
