A delegation of N-League and PTI activists comprising nazims, union councils chairmen and vice-chairmen from Faisalabad called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) senior leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at his residence here on Friday and announced to join the party.
Those who joined the PML-Q included Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf's Chaudhry Nabi Ahmad, candidate for chairman union council Chaudhriwala, Ahmad Gul, Mohammad Bashir, Mohammad Azam, N-League's Khawar Saeed Randhawa Chak 105 candidate Chairman Union Council Kal Garh, Chaudhry Liaquat Gul, UC Kalra Chak 265, Mahmud Ahmad Bajwa, Chaudhry Majeed Ahmad, Chaudhry Tajammul, Chaudhry Shams, Chaudhry Mohammad Salim, Mohammad Khizer, Abdul Rehman, and Chaudhry Ashraf Gondal among others.
Welcoming joining of PML-Q by PTI and PML-N workers, Elahi said this is a good omen for the party. He said the PML-O is organizing workers convention in Faisalabad on May 14. He said during PML-Q tenure, farmer was prosperous and today the farmer is seeing his crops being destroyed, we were more worried about crop than the farmer, we procured every grain of the crop, fertilizers were provided to the farmers at cheap rates.
Moreover, PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over targeting caravan of Deputy Chairman Senate and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam senior leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri in Mastung and condoled with the families of those martyred in the explosion. They have expressed gratitude to almighty Allah that Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has not received serious injuries. They prayed for patience to the bereaved families of the martyred and for early and complete recovery of the injured persons.
