At least six people died and eight others injured when an over-speeding trailer hit a qingqi rickshaw here on Tuesday. Rescue sources said that the accident took place at National Highway in Ghotki where a driver trailer hit a qingqi rickshaw. Six people died on the spot in the accident while eight others were injured. The bodies and injured were moved to hospital.
The trailer driver escaped from the scene of the accident. The police impounded the trailer and after registering a case against the driver at large started raids for his arrest.
