NEW YORK: The United Nations Security Council on Monday held a session to extend the mandate of the panel of experts assisting the Libya Sanctions Committee and renew the measures against illicit crude oil exports from Libya until February 20, 2020.
According to the final report of the Panel of Experts, six illegal attempts to export crude oil were recorded between August 2017 and August 2018.
The report also tackled the Libyan divisions over the distribution of economic resources.
