Former governor Punjab Ghulam Mustafa Khar said on Saturday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan will visit his house after Eid and will address a public gathering in Muzafargarh. While talking the journalists at Meet the Press in Lahore Press Club, Mustafa Khar said that he has joined PTI unconditionally. He also said that it is need of the hour that people from all walks of life should play active role in politics.
While answering the question regarding Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, Khar said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has not bothered to discuss the issue of Jadhav in parliament. How one can expect from Nawaz Sharif that he will take the people of Pakistan in to confidence on the issue of Jadhav.
Khar said people of Pakistan will reject PPP and PML-N in 2018 election due to their involvement in massive corruption. He alleged that PML-N government is run by builder and construction mafia not by Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. Khar also said that Zardari is responsible for the down fall of PPP. He alleged that Zardari has made PPP a regional party. He termed Zardari as king of corruption alleging that Zardari had taken massive kick backs in power projects during PPP government in 1993 when Khar was federal minister of water and power. He alleged that Benazir Bhutto was also involved in corruption. He claimed that Benazir Bhutto was convinced in her last days that Kala Bagh Dam should be constructed.
