Banking Mohtasib Anis-ul-Hassnain paid a farewell call on President Mamnoon Hussain, here on Sunday and apprised him about the performance of his institution. On the occasion, the President commended Banking Mohtasib on discharging his responsibilities with honesty and hard work.
Praising the performance of the institution of Banking Mohtasib, the President said that resolving the issues of traders and industrialists creates harmony in the society and further builds up confidence of the people on the state and this provides impetus to industrial and trade activities and strengthens the national economy.
The President also praised the measures taken by Banking Mohtasib for resolving the banking related issues. Meanwhile, talking to various delegations belonging to legal, educational and academic fields, the President said education lays the foundation of national development and educational institutions should play their role actively and positively in this regard.
The President has emphasised the need for promoting skill based quality education in the country. He said the elements giving rise to malpractices in educational institutions should be dealt with an iron hand. Mamnoon Hussain said judiciary plays an important role in promoting discipline within a society and our courts have played a very active role to this effect. He said the China Pakistan Economic Corridor has opened up new vistas of opportunities which our youth should benefit from.
