The Sindh government on Tuesday reappointed Sohail Anwar Siyal as the Home Minister after shuffling in the provincial cabinet in Sindh. A notification has also been released in this regard. Siyal already holds three separate portfolios of Agriculture, Supply and Prices, and Minerals and Mines in addition to the new portfolio.
Minister for Transport Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has been appointed as Minister for Information. He also holds the portfolio of Labour and Human Resources. Dr Sikandar Mandhro has been given the portfolio of Religious Affairs, and Zakat and Ushr. He also holds the Health portfolio. Siyal was removed in July 2016 after a standoff with the Pakistan Rangers. The decision was taken after Sindh government removed all provincial advisors, co-ordinators and special assistants.
