The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) deferred the plan of movement against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif till after Eidul Fitr to press him to tender resignation in the wake of Panama leaks. The LHCBA and SCBA on May 20 had given a seven-day deadline to the Prime Minister which ended on Saturday. Talking to the newsmen, the office-bearers of the LHCBA said that National Action Committee, constituted by SCBA and LHCBA, would analyse the steps needed to launch movement against the prime minister.
They said the joint investigation team cannot hold fair and independent inquiry against Nawaz Sharif until he is in office of PM. The office-bearers of the bar said that proper planning for the movement against the PM would be started after the holy month of Ramazan.
